Nine students achieved membership in the BW Delta Upsilon Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society in the spring 2018 semester.

Students at the University of Findlay recently participated in the annual Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity. Held on campus, undergraduate and graduate students were given the opportunity to share their research, creativity and professional learning experiences with the University and community.

This spring, the BW theatre and dance community came together to present "fyoo zh en," the annual dance concert combining choreography with faculty member research. This year's show was inspired by Dr. Swagata Banik's National Institutes of Health-funded public health study "Project SHAKTI: Stigma reduction, Healthcare provider Awareness and Knowledge enhancement on Transgender issues in India."

Seventeen students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Kappa Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, in the spring 2018 semester.

Sixteen students achieved membership in Kappa Mu Epsilon, National Mathematics Honor Society, in the spring 2018 semester.

Berea was invigorated with a mix of rock music and Czech history as BW students presented Tom Stoppard's acclaimed play, "Rock 'N' Roll." Set to the soundtrack of greats like John Lennon and The Beach Boys, the story spans two decades and follows the rise and fall of Communist ideals within the characters' lives - both personal and political.

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Approximately 2.419 students have made the Fall Semester 2017 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University. To qualify for the Dean's List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average.

A distinguished group of students at Baldwin Wallace University has reached BW's pinnacle of academic honor society achievement with fall 2017 induction into the Dayton C. Miller Honor Society. Less than four percent of the undergraduate student body achieves membership in the society.

Forty-seven students achieved membership in Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) National Honor Society for First-Year Students in the fall 2017 semester. ALD is an honor society for full-time students who achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher and were in the top 20 percent of their class during their first year of higher education.

Twenty-seven BW students participated in the "Global Sport Industry" study abroad program, a transformative two-week experience in Ireland, the Netherlands and Germany, during the spring 2017 semester. The program provides an opportunity for students to get hands-on experience with leaders in the expanding global sport industry.

Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball sophomore guard Michael Quiring (Brunswick) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
