Ohio Wesleyan University held its 172nd commencement ceremony on May 8, 2016. The OWU Class of 2016 included 390 spring, summer, and fall graduates, with 65 cum laude, 43 magna cum laude, and 20 summa cum laude honorees. The Baldwin Wallace University Honors Program officially inducted 21 students at a pinning ceremony during the spring 2016 semester. The program strives for a learning environment inside and outside the classroom that engages the whole student, seeks to connect theoretical ideas to real world applications, fosters independent thinking and brings students together into a community of scholars.

Hundreds of YSU's highest achieving students have been named to the Spring 2016 Dean's List.

The President's List includes YSU students earning 4.0 grade-point averages in the Spring 2016 semester.

John Carroll University celebrated 2016 Commencement on Sunday, May 22. Approximately 650 undergraduate and 200 graduate degrees were awarded.

The student-directed and student-operated publication showcases the creative achievements of gifted students from across campus disciplines.

The Chadron State College president's list, which requires a 4.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, consists of 258 students. Students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours of coursework during the semester to qualify.

34 Baldwin Wallace University spring sports student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

The following students achieved membership in the National German Honor Society, Delta Phi Alpha, in the spring 2016 semester.

BW's Symphonic Wind Ensemble embarked on a six-day performance tour in Washington, D.C. over 2016 Spring Break. They interacted with students from four diverse high schools through a variety of master classes and performances. The tour culminated with a performance at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Forty-six Youngstown State University students were honored at the annual Student Awards Banquet for their participation in the YSU Emerging Leaders Program. The program is designed to strengthen leadership knowledge and skills.

John Carroll University students travel to Florida, Jamaica, and Kentucky to make a difference in struggling communities.

Nearly 600 students at the University of Findlay recently participated in the annual Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity. Held on campus, undergraduate and graduate students were given the opportunity to share their research, creativity and professional learning experiences with the University and community.

The following students were acknowledged at the University of Mount Union's Senior Recognition and Honors Convocation held Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropy organization on campus. Lasting 12 hours, the marathon consists of performers, dance and education about HIV/AIDS. All proceeds were donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which seeks to educate and reduce the the transmission and cases of pediatric AIDS worldwide.

The following students will present scholarly research during the University of Mount Union's ninth annual Student Celebration Honoring Our Latest Academic Research (SCHOLAR) Day on Tuesday, April 19 on Mount Union's campus.

Forty-three students in Youngstown State University's Williamson College of Business Administration have been inducted into the YSU Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the world's premiere business honorary. Beta Gamma Sigma is reserved exclusively for schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. BGS members are found in all 50 states and more than 160 countries worldwide.

The University of Findlay Concert-Chorale will perform "Messa di Gloria" and "Mottetto per San Paolino" by Giacomo Puccini, on Sunday, April 10 at 3 p.m. at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts' Thomas, Kathleen and William Donnell Theater.

Student composers, choreographers and dancers created and performed a collaborative new music and dance project inspired by Dr. Barbara Palmer's extensive research on female political candidates from the last century.

The Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team had its best season in the history of the program and the successes didn't just happen on the mat. They also took place in the classroom as the Yellow Jacket team and seven of its starters were honored at the 2016 NCAA Division III National Wrestling Championships by the NWCA (National Wrestling Coaches Association).

TROY is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Provost's List for Term 3 of the 2015/2016 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualify for the Provost's List. Term 3 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with students outside of Alabama and online.

The 2016 Ohio Athletic Conference champion and 19th-ranked Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team landed nine of its 10 starters on this year's All-OAC squad, and fifth-year Head Coach Jamie Gibbs is the OAC Coach of the Year.

Columbia State Community College congratulates the fall 2015 graduates whose names were recently released. The 230 graduates are continuing their studies at other colleges and universities, as well as entering directly into the workforce.
